Keys to the Castle

A touching and often funny observational documentary about a charming couple in their twilight years, who have lived in their beloved Scottish Castle since rebuilding it from ruins forty years ago.  As the challenges of age take their toll, Alisoun, for the first time in her long marriage to Sandy, has had to take control of their destiny and make increasingly difficult decisions about their day-to-day lives and future. 

As the move approaches, and their lives are turned upside down, the film follows Alisoun as she faces the daunting task of downsizing from a castle to a bungalow. The distressing reasons behind the move gradually become clear and are gently explored.
